Camel wool is used in a mattress due to its excellent thermostatic properties. The fibres have great moisture wicking properties keeping you dry and your mattress fresh, with the added benefit of providing a soft and comfortable feel.

Mongolia Bactrian Camel hair is the most spectacular of natural wool. The camel’s hair is cool in summer and warm in winter to adapt to the desert climate with a 40 degree temperature difference. The fibre is collected from the soft underbelly of the Camel, who will regularly be subjected to the sub-zero freezing desert at night and then 40 degrees plus of the scorching desert midday heat. It has outstanding insulation properties and is very soft to the skin, which makes it ideal for luxury mattresses.

Hypersoft foams have a high air permeability and thus promote moisture disbursement within the material. This property provides a pleasant climate for upholstery and mattresses and considerably reduces the risk of heat accumulation.
